Hammered Damast BR-Series
The refined tsuchime technique – an age-old hammering process – gives the blade a unique appearance and prevents food from sticking while cutting. Together with the pakkawood handle, this set radiates a perfect marriage of traditional craftsmanship and modern elegance.
Unique features and specifications
- 67-layer VG-10 Damascus steel: Each knife is constructed from 67 layers of steel with a core of high-quality VG-10. This construction results in exceptional sharpness, strength, and wear resistance – perfect for intensive use.
- Tsuchime finish: The hand-hammered blade not only provides a luxurious appearance but also reduces friction, making food less likely to stick to the knife.
- Pakkawood handle: Comfort and control are paramount. The ergonomically shaped handle fits comfortably in the hand, is suitable for both left and right-handed users, and is finished with the iconic Shinrai logo on the bottom.
- Luxurious gift packaging: Each knife comes in an elegant gift box, making this set a great gift – for yourself or someone else.
- Magnetic knife block: The stylish acacia wood block offers space for 8 knives. Thanks to the powerful magnetic system, knives stay securely in place, organized, and always within reach.
- Warranty: 5 years
Contents of the knife set

Maintenance tips and recommendations
Clean the knives by hand in warm water with a mild soap. Avoid the dishwasher to keep the steel and handles in top condition. Dry the knives carefully after use. Use a wooden cutting board to protect the blade and sharpen the knives regularly with a sharpening stone or honing steel for lasting sharpness.
The magnetic knife block is easy to maintain with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Keep the block away from humid environments or heat sources for a long lifespan.
