The Japanese cleaver Kuro is unique because of its coarsely hammered blade. This blade consists of high-quality 5CR15MOV steel - also called 1.4116 steel - that has been processed no less than 8 times. This intensive processing provides extra hardness and sharpness. The hammered blade in combination with the burnt wooden handle with bolster makes the Kuro knives a joy to work with. Perfect grip, balance and sharpness!
- Made of 5CR15MOV steel that has been machined 8x
- 100% hand-forged
- Comes in a beautiful wooden gift box
- Designed for power, balance and precision
Comfortable
All blades are extremely sharp. Thanks to the perfect grip, balance and stability, they always lie comfortably in your hand. Cutting food has never been so easy and fun!
Handmade in detail
The knives are handmade, so we can pay attention to every little detail in order to provide you with the best quality Japanese knives. The blades are hand-sharpened and processed 8x, resulting in an ultra-sharp knife that cuts through your ingredients with ease.
The best for your dish
A sharp edge ensures tastier and healthier food. A finer cut surface helps prevent the ingredients from losing colour, flavour, juice and elasticity during cooking. In addition, a sharp edge ensures that cut ingredients have a longer shelf life and do not take on the taste of other things in the fridge.
A beautiful gift
The knives are always delivered in a beautiful wooden gift box. This not only ensures that the blades are protected on the go, but also that it puts a smile on your face when you receive it.
