Kai Shun - Seki Magoroku Kaname Kiritsuke 7.75'' (19.5 cm) Description

The Seki Magoroku Kaname Kiritsuke knife from Kai Shun combines advanced Japanese technology with traditional craftsmanship. The knife features a core of extremely hard VG Xeos steel, with a hardness of 60-62 (±1) HRC, covered with two layers of stainless steel. This unique composition creates a thin cutting edge that minimizes resistance during cutting, while ensuring long-lasting sharpness and extremely precise cuts.

The handle, made of black grained Pakka wood, is carefully handcrafted for a seamless transition to the bolster. The octagonal, ergonomic shape offers excellent control and comfort during use, making the knife fit perfectly in the hand.

This edition of the Seki Magoroku Kaname series is a refined choice for culinary perfectionists who appreciate functionality and aesthetics.

Maintenance and recommendations
Before first use, rinse the knife with hot water. Clean the blade after each use with a mild detergent and dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth. Rinse acidic foods immediately to prevent corrosion.

Always wash the knife by hand, as a dishwasher can damage the material. Keep the wooden handle in optimum condition by occasionally oiling it with neutral vegetable oil or Camellia oil. Professional sharpening is recommended to maintain sharpness and durability. Use a traditional whetstone or an electric sharpening system from our range.

Safe storage
Store the knife in a knife block, wooden drawer insert, magnetic strip or blade protector to prevent damage. Make sure the blade does not come into contact with other metal objects.

This Kiritsuke knife comes in a stylish gift box, making it a perfect gift for any cooking enthusiast or professional chef.
