In 1931 Eugen Hollaender founded Amefa (Apeldoornse Messenfabriek) in Apeldoorn. Since its foundation, Amefa has been active in the cutlery sector and first started with the production of razor blades. Over time, Amefa has developed into one of the leading suppliers of cutlery in Europe, delivering to more than 50 countries and currently employing around 300 people from all over the world.
